Just spend 5 minutes online or in front of the TV and you will hear tons of information on how to survive the Recession. I checked it out for myself and heard:
1) Protect your job
2) Work longer hours to earn more money
3) Re-work your mortgage
4) Refinance high interest credit cards
5) Reduce your spending
6) Negotiate everything, haggle over every purchase
7) Cut energy costs
And so on and so on.
This is rediculous! Every Tom, Dick and Harry out there is telling you how to save money and greatly reduce your standard of living!
So let me get straight to the point. Those of you who have been reading my work for years, KNOW this is NOT what I believe. If this all worked so well, how come everyone who reduces their standard of living does not get rich?
Why is it that the people with the greatest economic educations are usually the ones struggling the most to make ends meet? Why is it that everyone who starts a business does not get rich?
Because it's not about what you do, it's about how you do it. Cause while there are 99 ways to skin a cat, if you don't do it RIGHT -- whichever method you have chosen -- it won't bring RESULTS.

Success Through Service, the Most Important Component!
Wallace Wattles and Napoleon Hill refer to as the competitive plane, David R. Hawkins refers to it as Power vs Force. Regardless of how you refer to it, IT is stressing people out because they are not seeing the results they are working for.
I personally prefer to operate my business from a place of service. Why is this so important? I have frequently heard a quote but unable to tell you where it originated, but it is the basis for my business. "If you help enough people in the World get what they want, you will surely get what you want." This is what a place of service is all about. Personally, I have some enormous goals, but I realize those goals are only attainable if I assist a lot of people in reaching their goals.
If you are not having success in your business, stop and ask yourself;
1) Am I looking for people who will buy my product or people who have a need for my product?
2) Am I forcing them to buy or am I providing them a method to resolve the need they have?
3) Am I servicing them by eliminating their pain or just servicing my self by making the sale?
Most people have pain in their lives. I am not talking about the physical kind, but the emotional kind. The kind that happens when people are stuck or stressed or just not where they thought they should be.
Are you operating your business by assisting these people in achieving their goals and eliminating their pain?
Since my primary product is a Life Achievement program, I look for people who are frustrated with their lack of achievement. But that is just my target group. Instead of just selling them a product which has a stand alone untold value, I give them much more. I show them how to put the pain behind them, how to establish some powerful goals and how to place themselves into a mode of success. I assist them in making choices to change where they are going, by accepting the choices they have made previously.
My product then is a logical next step, but regardless of rather they purchase or not, I feel I have helped them because I gave them much more than they expected. I gave them a part of me and my expertise. You have to be willing to give them much more than they expect. You have to ensure they are purchasing your assistance and guidance.
By doing this, you build trust and a long term relationship. If you do not have the experience in your product or company, assist them by providing them the support of someone who does have the expertise. Work with your own mentor to assist you in mentoring your customers. If you are unable to demonstrate your own knowledge, borrow the knowledge of a leader in your company.
It is also very important for you to demonstrate your belief and faith in your product and company. Never expect someone to purchase something you do not have the confidence to purchase yourself. As my mentor pointed out to me once "Never buy a Rolls from someone who drives a VW". You must give them your faith in the product in order for them to have faith as well.
Never focus on the Sale! Focus on the service you can give. Just go out and work toward enriching lives and the experiences they have in their lives. When you focus on the sale, you may occasionally experience some success, but it will never be explosive and continual.
By focusing on service, you are filling a funnel with relationships. Eventually, that funnel will begin to drip drip drip sales from the bottom. People who want to do business with you, people who trust you and people who believe you can relieve their pain.
This is the only way to conduct business and the only way to reach the top!

Summer is Over, Is it Time to Focus on Success?
Finally, Labor Day has passed and Fall is on it's way. For me, I welcome the end of the summer. Living on the beach is great, but sometimes it is so crowded that I forget how much I love it. September and October however are wonderful months to live at the beach. Still very warm (90 today) and yet the crowds are gone (thank Heaven for school starting).
Anyway, someone mentioned to me just yesterday that now with summer behind them, they could focus on their life and having success in their business.
That started me thinking about the mentality that thinks you have to have all conditions just perfect before you can move forward or continue your life, or have success. Times are only perfect when we allow them to be. If you wait for the "right time", you will never find it. Why? Because the right time is within you. All you have to do is look within to find the "right time" for anything.
If you look within and the desire and the intention are there, then so is the success so the the time is perfect, right now!
Sure, Summer is a time of fun and outdoor events, but who said you have to put your life on hold to have fun and enjoy yourself? Success comes from the fun! Should I repeat that? "Success comes from the fun".
The power of intention should be all anyone needs to have success. Success is already within each and every one of us. Once we set the intention to bring the success out, then having fun and living one's life will set the law of attraction wheels rolling and the success will show itself.
The only piece that is missing here is the mental focus on what you want and how you want that to show itself. The energy and the emotion of the intent can be fed by the fun of living your life. The fun you have, when the focus is on your intention, it is like adding jetfuel to the desire.
So, what am I trying to tell you? Very simple, have fun everyday, but keep your focus on your goals and your intention (aka expectation). Let the fun of living your life be the fuel your intentions need to move you to your destination of allout success.
Sound too simple to be true? Try it. Do the things you need to do and then go out and have fun. Allow the intention of your efforts work for you. They will every time.

All Good Things Come Through Relationships
I am frequently asked how the Law of Attraction brings things to us. Some people actually expect good things to just appear (like money on the doorstep) but in real life, that is not how the Law of Attraction works.
All good things come through relationships. All increase and growth will come through people you meet along the way or people you already know. The Universe (God) will put into your path the people you need to meet in order to accomplish your goals.
A perfect example is an associate I am currently working with. Two years ago I originally spoke to him, he responded to an ad. At the time, he did not have the level of belief or faith that he could accomplish more in his life so was not ready to move forward.
After two years went by, he had learned a great deal and had started dealing with some of his limiting beliefs. Amazingly, he responded to an ad of mine, not realizing it was someone he had talked to before and now he is ready to move forward.
The universe brought us together originally but since his vibration was not in line with what I offered, he opted not to move forward. Now he is ready and his vibration is one which will allow him to achieve his goals and once again, the universe put us together at the opportune time.
This is how it always works. Someone introduces you, someone answers an ad, someone bumps into you, whatever the method, the universe will bring you together.
When vibrations are in line, the universe is super charged to work putting everything into place. People you meet will have the nuggets you desire. It is simply a matter of keeping an open mind to allow those relationships to develop.
All too often, skepticism, anger, frustration and other negative energies block the view of the person you should meet. You shrug them off, think "too good to be true", run and anything else to self destruct the opportunity you need to reach your goals.
So, while working toward your goals, always keep an open mind and heart. The right people will come to you but it is up to you to welcome them in. It is your responsibility to trust and allow change to happen.
To Your Success!

Financial Mindset - How much money are You Really Worth?
I spend my days working with people to teach them how to make money and every day, take a serious look at the mindset people operate from. It is very interesting to see the result of someones life as it compares to their mindset. Simply said, I can only teach people to make what they think they are worth.
First of all, let me clarify. Living a prosperous life is not really about the money, it is about the lifestyle the money provides. It is about the freedom, the choices and the options available to those who create their lives.
But the greatest challenge to me is helping people to see that the amount of money they earn is directly relevant to how much they think they are worth. I talk with people everyday who see themselves in a very small place, the challenge is to move them to see the bigger picture.
What does this mean? Let's do a very simple exercise. Take out a piece of paper and without much thought, simply write down on that paper how much money you want to make this year. What did you write? Was it $1 Million, $500,000 or maybe even $50,000?
Whatever you wrote on that piece of paper is what you are worth (today)! Value is a perception only, so if you have the perception that you are worth $50,000 then I am sorry to inform you, that is all you are worth (at this time). But you may say... sure, but it is June and the year is half over, or, I don't know how to make more right now, my current salary is this or this or that or whatever!
The fact is, 90% of the result is the mindset. So if you see yourself making only $50,000 then you have the mindset of making that amount. On the other hand, if you see yourself making $500,000 this year, then that is the mindset you are working with and your chances of making that amount dramatically increase.
I have said in many of my articles that making a Million Dollars is the easiest thing in the world, the hard part is DECIDING to make a Million Dollars. It is one thing to WANT a Million, but if you have not decided to make it, then you are just in a state of want and will never move past that with your current thinking. Your current thinking is responsible for where you are today, in order to move beyond where you are, you absolutely must change your thinking.
Another very important point is this...
It is not your job to figure out HOW to make the amount of money you desire, it is your job to DECIDE what that amount is. Once you make a decision, which involves a fever of desire and an unstoppable mindset, then the method will come to you, but you must DECIDE first.
Bottom line, as I said, I work with people to show them how to use a simple system to achieve financial success. But, if a person has the mindset of $50,000 then they will take this Million Dollar opportunity and make $50,000 with it. On the other hand, if they have a Million Dollar mindset and desire, they will make the Million. The other person will literally leave $950,000 on the table for someone else to make and then complain that the opportunity is not worth more than $50,000.
Think about it very seriously. What is your financial mindset? Whatever it is, is what you are worth. Let's talk later about how to increase that mindset.

Praise and Celebrate Your Life - The Power of Gratitude

This is a powerful quote and I encourage my readers to post this where they can see it everyday. Turn on the power of gratitude. Gratitude is an energy, a force, beyond all others.
You can not open the doors to receive in your life until you are grateful for what you have, and not just the things you have, but the circumstances the people, your mind, your inner power, your dreams, your desires, your life and all things touching your life. It is all a part of who you are and the future you have.
Be grateful

Prosperity and Abundance is Your Birthright - Living with Intent
Too often, the underlying reason people never experience true prosperity in any area of life is due to their feelings of deservability. Our society has perpetuated the myth for years that successful people are mean, greedy and even untrustworthy. We have been fed the propaganda that we should not want to be wealthy and there is not enough money for everyone. Our society has told us we do not deserve to be wealthy.
I am here to tell you that is absolute hogwash! Everyone deserves to have all the success and abundance they desire. Even the Bible tells us we can have the desires of our hearts and our purpose on earth is prosperity in every area. If we have the desire within to be prosperous and successful then we have the means to achieve it. It is our birthright to have prosperity and abundance, God created the world with more than enough of everything for everyone. Everyone is born with the right to be prosperous and abundant.
What our society, media and schools do not teach us is there is more than enough money in this world for every desire. Money is endless, it is an energy that grows with use. The more we put it to work and circulate it, the more there is. It must flow and circulate to grow. One basic rule of business is if you want to increase the income from a business, you must grow the business. The same rule applies to money in general, it must be used to increase.
We are not taught how to make money, we are taught to work hard. Most highly successful people will tell you the wealth came from learning to work smart or wisely and allowing the universe to reap the returns of the effort. The hard work of creating wealth, or should I say the hardest part, is working on ourselves. Developing a prosperity consciousness and a vision of success, which therefore drives a life of intention.
A person who is truly intent on creating wealth and that intention is driven by a giving heart will experience a level of financial success that is unmeasurable and not imaginable. We are not taught that wealth in our world is proportionate to the number of people we serve, the amount of service we provide and amount of money we give away.
Look at Bill Gates for example. He is the richest man in the world, but also the greatest philanthropist in the world. He makes more because he gives more. A basic law of this world is you can not out give the amount you can receive. The more you give (with a passionate and loving heart) the more you receive.
So let's address the greatest argument of all times about having wealth and abundance. "Money does not buy happiness". I love this one. No, money does not buy happiness, it buys comfort. When we are comfortable, we have the time and the means to find real happiness in our lives. If this fable were true, then the poorest of poor people would be the happiest. We know this is not true. Normally when you meet a poor person who is happy, it is simply because they have given up and given in, they have settled for much less than they deserve.
My personal goal is to help as many people as possible to live the life they deserve to live, a life of prosperity and abundance in every area. I am accomplishing this goal through my business, offering a powerful program to assist in establishing a mindset of wealth consciousness and by giving generously to the missions and charities I choose. My plan is to tell as many people as I can touch about the power they have inside them, the power to have anything they desire and to empower them to achieve real goals.
I acknowledge that money is not everything but it is extraordinarily important. The best thing I can do for the poor is to not be one, therefore helping large numbers of the poor through giving and providing hope.
Write this in your journal today and put it where you can see it frequently: "I deserve to be prosperous and abundant in every area of my life".
Now, work on those goals. Think Big, think great, think giving. Then, be intent on living the life you have defined for yourself. Include giving as a major purpose for your success. Look at what you are doing in life. Are you on the route which will take you to those huge goals? If not, then start expecting the right route to show itself, it will. There is a route for each of us, if we are intent on it revealing itself.

Be the Rhino, A Life of Purpose and Intention
Jerry Clark, extremely well known in the Network Marketing industry for not only his success but for his powerful teachings at Club Rhino, uses the analagy of Rhinos and Cows to explain the difference in successful and unsuccessful people.
Most entrepreneurs have heard the story of The Rhino escaping from the Cow Pasture. The point of the story is, the Rhino knows where he is going and will not be misguided or held back by the beliefs of others, namely the cows.
While in the cow pasture, the Rhino has a vision of his goal, escapes and keeps on purpose for getting there. As a Rhino, he can see himself where he truly wants to be and is driven by his desires and purpose.
With Rhinos, the joy is in the journey. With consistent action, integity and the ability to do what cows will not, he creates a journey filled with joy, charging through the jungle regardless of appearances. The Rhino sees every situation as part of the journey and is grateful for the events that move him to his destination.
Cow conditioning on the other hand is giving in to the evidence of a situation. By concentrating on life's mistakes and failures, he fails to move toward a goal simply because the route of travel is not crystal clear, smooth and guaranteed.
Rhinos get results because they, unlike cows, do not sabotage their success with inconsistency, excuses and drama. Rhinos always team up with other Rhinos, surrounding themselves with goal achievers. Rhinos play to win instead of playing "not to lose".
You deserve to know, by making a few modifications in your thinking and your actions, you too, can be a Rhino. By taking total ownership of your results, removing any blame and moving consistently forward toward your ultimate destination, you will see yourself as the Rhino you are inside. Instead of being a cow waiting for the slaughter, take charge and create your desired outcome.
I will talk further about being a Rhino and living the Rhino life in later posts. In the meantime, when you look back to where you have been, see yourself as a Rhino who thought he was a cow, instead of a cow, living a cow's existence.

What We Can Learn from Don Imus
I frequently speak of the power of our words. What we speak we bring to us, what we think we bring to us and what we feel, we bring to us. So, what does this have to do with Don Imus? His words have ignited a firestorm of opinion and uproar. His "words" have changed the direction of his life dramatically.
My point of bringing him up has absolutely nothing to do with my stand on his comments and everything to do with where I am going with my life. If I am passionate about achieving my goals and living a life of quality and abundance, it is imperative for me to totally control my words and emotions. Getting involved in somthing such as this issue, with the level of negative comments can only result in a setback for me. Any issue with such an amount of negative emotion will bring me away from my goals.
Remember, you can only move forward or backward and I choose to move forward, closer to my goals. If I were to allow myself to get involved in a verbal diatribe about this issue, it would truly move me backwards, and my goals are way too important to allow that to happen.
As a student of personal development, I know where I am going and what it will take to get there. My goal is enormous so my integrity must be enormous. My goal is powerful, so my thoughts must be powerful, my dream is vivid so my direction must be vivid. These do not include negative emotion. Getting involved in the words of a topic such as this will only hold me back. Any energy given to this would be very detrimental to achieving my goals.
The main thing we can do is to avoid getting caught up in negative energy. This is an excellent opportunity for us to practice restraint. Regardless of our stand on this issue, expressing any point of view whatsoever can be very devastating to our rate of success.
So, what can we learn from Don Imus? Very simple, regardless of the issue, our goals are greater than we are. Our desires are huge and drive us to be giants. Our dreams are real and in order for us to achieve those dreams, we are bigger than the crisis of the moment.
Take a stand for yourself, your family and your future and just let it go and move on to what is truly important to you and something you can actually do something about such as your own results and your own success.

Gotta Get Goals - The Power of Your Mind's Eye
Alex Shalman at Practical Personal Development started this meme some while ago. I have actually been tagged twice but am a bit behind since I was traveling for a while. But, I am back on track now and want to thank Edward Mills at Evolving Times for tagging me on this one. Plus, I have to say, this is a tough one. Although I do believe in talking about your goals, I also have long believed you must speak of your goals to yourself as though they have been created in order to speak them into being. One must be very careful to "see" themselves as successful. When speaking of "wanting" things, you open the Law of Attraction to bring more want by focusing on the fact you do not have what you want and therefore focusing on lack, which will only bring more lack.
So, here go my 5 greatest goals. These are pictures of how my life will be, not the things "I want":
1) I see myself with a powerful personal relationship with God. A relationship which allows me to speak with Him and hear Him vividly in every area of my life. I see God as giving me specific instruction in every day issues and in every activity of my life. I constantly and consistently work on this relationship and learning to listen for God's voice and guidance as well as identifying the people and situations He brings into my life.
2) I see us (my husband and myself) traveling the world, living wherever we choose for as long as we choose. I have seen much of the world and see myself returning to these wonderful places with my best friend and without a time frame, spending one month or six months, whatever we choose to do.
3) I see myself making a real difference in the world. I see a great philanthropic endeavor being achieved. I see a community center or a place of motivation and achievement which will be a life changing experience for everyone who chooses to be a part of it.
4) I see me doing everything on my list of 101 things to do before I die. I have been maintaining this list for years and constantly add to it. My vision is to do these things as they come to me and looking back on my life knowing I have done everything I had a passion for. (I will write about this list some day, it would probably surprise everyone!)
5) I love public speaking and have done a great deal of it in the Corporate World, but now... I see myself speaking in front of thousands, guiding them to live the life they truly deserve, reaching for their wildest dreams and living lives of extraordinary results.
These are probably not as vivid as you would like, but they are powerful to me. I see these as coming to me, I can visualize everyone of these and will continue to focus on them everyday, knowing this focus will bring them to me. The mind's eye is an amazing thing and can trick the subconscious mind into thinking what it sees. With this, the Law of Attraction (God) then puts into place the opportunities and the people to make things come to pass.

Urgency to Create Your Life
"You must take action now that will move you towards your goals. Develop a sense of urgency in your life.- Les Brown"
You have only one life and one opportunity to create what you truly want. You can create anything you desire, but it takes total commitment to make it happen. This quote by Les Brown brings to mind how important it is to focus and take action.
Get clarity in what you want. Once you are totally clear that your goals are what you want then put the Law of Attraction to work for you. Remember the Law of Attraction will bring you what you focus on regardless of rather it is wanted or unwanted. It is entirely about focus.
The fuel behind the Law of Attraction is emotion. When you set a goal that is scary or exciting or motivates you to take action, then your chances of the goal manifesting increase dramatically. You can not get excited about something without a sense of urgency.
Turn on the emotion of urgency, give absolute focus to your goal and just watch it manifest. But, take care in how you focus. You MUST see yourself as having what you are focusing on. Focusing on what you need and what you want will create more need and want and the end result is disappointment. Focus on the end result only. Focus on having, focus on being the person in possession of your goal and focus on how it feels to have it. Once you tap into this energy you will create the urgency of having it.
With directed emotion, such as urgency, you will be more open to the opportunities presented to you. The Universe (God) will put the wheels in motion to make it happen. If you are not focused and not urgent about receiving, you may miss the opportunity.
Go for your goals without giving yourself an escape hatch. Take action when the opportunity arises. Expect to receive everything you want in life.

Focus on having, focus on being the person in possession of your goal and focus on how it feels to have it. Once you tap into this energy you will create the urgency of having it.
With directed emotion, such as urgency, you will be more open to the opportunities presented to you. The Universe (God) will put the wheels in motion to make it happen. If you are not focused and not urgent about receiving, you may miss the opportunity.
Go for your goals without giving yourself an escape hatch. Take action when the opportunity arises. Expect to receive everything you want in life.

Inspiration and Gratitude - A Powerful Success Tool
Today is a gorgeous day at the beach. I live on a beautiful little island in the Southern Outer Banks of NC. This is a picture from my deck today. I am filled with inspiration, knowing that Spring is peeking through the bleakness of Winter.
It makes me think about why my husband and I chose to move here 2 years ago. After leaving our jobs and starting our business, we suddenly realized we could live anywhere we chose, and here we are.
The reason I bring this up is very simple. Gratitude is a powerful tool to use when creating success and prosperity in your life. Gratitude turns on the ignition of The Law of Attraction to bring greater things to you. The more gratitude you show for everything you have, the more the Universe (God) will be willing to bring to you.
But gratitude is even more powerful when you are grateful for the little things and the challenging things. Challenges are a piece of your life map taking you to your destination. How you handle challenges is what makes the difference.
In everything in life, you are either moving forward or falling backward. If you are grateful for the challenges, then you are consistently moving forward toward your goals and where you should be in life.
So be grateful for everything. Yes, it is easy to be grateful for a beautiful ocean scene everday, but even when it is stormy, dark and bitter cold, I am grateful for that as well.
I choose to receive in my life and I hope you too will choose to receive. Recieving begins with gratitude. Be inspired by everything in your life and show gratitude for all, afterall, you created what you have and where you are.

Why I Believe in "The Secret" - Answering My Nbr 1 Question
I am frequently asked why I believe in "The Law of Attraction" or "The Secret". So it is time to let you all know exactly why I do. First of all, this is my belief. I do not expect everyone to jump on board and support my beliefs, they are mine and I am very loyal to what I believe. My belief is the result of my own research and a lot of soul searching and has solidly planted the belief of the Law into my heart.
I have been a student of the Law of Attraction for years. I have seen it in action time and again, both in positive results and unfortunately, in negative results. By understanding how to apply the Law of Attraction in my own life, I have dramatically changed my life and my results in many areas and I have witnessed dramatic changes in others as well.
When I first heard of the "Law", I was very skeptical. I dabbled with it, tested it on small things, watched the results of others who were applying it into their lives. But I had a lingering doubt in the back of my mind that I can only explain by saying, I was concerned that it may be against my spiritual beliefs. In other words, I was afraid it may be satanistic, or something of the occult, maybe something evil. I laugh now when I think back to those days. I never doubted that it worked, I only doubted it's origin.
So my search for information began. My first goal, was to find scriptures that clearly defined the Law of Attraction, actually expecting to debunk it at last. But to my surprise, the reverse happened. I am a Christian and believe the Bible is the true word of God. I also believe it will provide an answer to you for any issue you have in your life.
Through my search, I have found many scriptural references which totally support the Law of Attraction. Scriptures that not only confirm it, but clearly explain how to apply it into our lives for whatever results we desire.
I believe that God puts desires in our heart and if He puts a desire in our heart, He wants to fulfill those desires. If one believes in the Bible as the true word of God, then one must believe that God wants us to have the desires of our heart.
I believe the Law of Attraction is truly the Holy Spirit at work in us. It is the power of Faith, and in that faith is the key to releasing God's promises in our lives. One must believe that He loves us and wants us to succeed in every area.
Receipt of our desires happens only through faith and gratitude. Therefore, if you apply the Law of Attraction, letting God know what your desires are and have total Faith they will be received, then they are. "Ask and it is given" is released only by faith and gratitude.
The Law of Attraction is Faith in it's truest sense. We have two choices of how to live our lives. They are in faith, or in fear. Both are application of the Law of Attraction. Both are believing in something you can not actually see.
When you live your life in fear (or worry) of what may happen, you are actually placing your belief or expectation into the bad things that may come to you. On the other hand, if you live your life in faith, expecting God's blessings to come to you, absolutely nothing is impossible and the Law of Attraction, through faith, brings those promises into your life.
In my belief, that is the power behind "The Secret". It is the power to turn on the blessings in store for each of us. Now, do I believe that only Christians can apply the Law of Attraction? Absolutely not!
Anyone can have faith to receive the desires of their heart. Just because they do not know where those blessings come from does not stop them from coming. This is why I know the Law of Attraction absolutely works every time.

After the Decision - What is the Next Step?
I have written in many of my articles about the power of making a decision. Having anything you desire requires making a decision to have it. The movie "The Secret" talks about the power of deciding what you want. "Think and Grow Rich", "The Traveler's Gift", "The Science of Getting Rich", "Ask and it is Given", and any other book focusing on manifestations or the Law of Attraction tell us first and foremost you must make a decision to have what you desire.
But what happens after you make a decision? In my coaching experience, I hear from many people "well, I made a decision, but nothing happened". Excuse me! What did you EXPECT to happen? Did you expect bags of money to drop on your doorstep after you decided to be rich? Did you expect the man of your dreams to knock on your door after you decided to get married? Did you expect your children to stop being kids when you decided to get more in touch with them?
Then I hear, "I made the decision but I just couldn't figure out how to make it happen". I hear this everyday, so I definitely want to address this, because it is probably the number one reason people give up on their dreams.
When you make the decision to change your life, you must first of all be OPEN to it changing and secondly and most importantly, it is not your job to figure out how to make it happen! Once you make the decision and you know that your life is changing and put into your heart the expectation of change, God, or The Universe (if you prefer), will bring the way to you. Your life will rearrange itself to make the decision come to fruition. And, the way may be by a method you never expected. But what it will definitely be is a means for you to reach your goal, or an opportunity for you to reach your goal, or a person who leads you to another person, or a new job offer, or an unexpected letter of money owed to you, or someone in a grocery line that tells you about a business opportunity.
What it takes is trust and expectation. Once you have made the decision, just allow it to happen. There is no need to worry about how things will happen. Just be open to new situations and new people in your life. Everyone coming into your life is there for a reason and you must be open to why they were put in your path.
Here is a perfect example, I recently talked with a gentleman who "decided" to find a home business opportunity that would get him out of a job that he hated. In our coaching, we were talking about the power of making the decision and how to make the decision and make sure it is a true desire and from the heart.
Then he said to me "I made this decision, expecting to find the right opportunity, and I had some interesting opportunites presented to me, one in particular that it seemed everyone I talked to was involved in, but when I did research on them I found there were people who did not have success and I have to find something where everyone succeeds or it must be a scam." It took me a couple of minutes to gain my composure on this one.
After finally composing myself, here are the points I made to him:
1) If you made the decision, then the universe must bring you opportunities that will take you to your goal
2) If you second guess the universe, then you are not trusting God to help you
3) Could there be a reason the same opportunity kept presenting itself?
And the most important:
4) You never made the decision, you are still trying to do it yourself. You must trust your decision and allow the answer to "come to you".
But let me get off the path for a moment.... 99% of business opportunities are legitimate. It is the people who are in the business who are not succeeding, not the business. If anyone starts a home business and expects to be scammed, or expects "it" to fail, "it" has no choice but to fail. The Law of Attraction gives you what you expect. So, if you start a business and know, absolutely know that you will have amazing success, then you will have success. But if you are just putting your toe in the water to see if something works, it will not work, so don't waste your time.
Let me wrap this up. Make a decision and let the Universe bring the way to you. You do your job with the decision, the Universe does it's job by bringing you the opportunity to receive your desire.
Let yourself have what you want in life. Let yourself receive what it is you decided to have.
Make it a great day.

Never Ride in the Back of the Plane - Choose the Front
Never Ride in the Back of the Plane - Choose the Front: Recently, I made an unplanned trip to Las Vegas from my home on the coast of North Carolina. With the last minute arrangements, I was forced to stand by for my flights. At the time, I was only focused on getting to Las Vegas, not necessarily how I was getting there.
I was able to get on all four of my flights, twice though, I got the very last seat available (another article on the power of intentional manifestation). On both of these flights, the last seat was in the coach compartment).
At the time, I was very grateful for the seat as my trip was very important. Only in hindsight did I take time to evaluate what I unintentionally created.
Let me step back in time a bit first…
I worked for a major airline for almost 30 years. I traveled on business all the time and because of my position, these trips were normally in First Class. I enjoyed First Class so much, that even on vacations, I paid the fee required and scheduled my trips around the availability to assure I was always in the front of the plane.
At the time, I was not a student of personal development, and simply knew that I “liked” First Class and how it made me feel to sit there. I did not realize the power of creating my own results at the time, but I do see now that I created those results myself. I always sat in the front, where I intentionally wanted to be.
Now that I no longer travel on employee benefits and always purchase my tickets, I see things completely differently. Now, I know that I deserve to have in life whatever I choose. Not what I settle for, but what I choose.
When I was with the airline, I chose to always fly First Class. Once I left the industry, I chose to not purchase a Coach Class seat, simply because I decided to always fly First Class, regardless of the cost.
However, when I was in a place of urgency, forgetting my choice and preferences, I unconsciously made the decision to settle for something less. Therefore, I found myself in the back of the plane for a very long trip.
Now understand one thing, this has nothing to do with Coach or First Class. If it is your choice to fly Coach, fine, that is your choice. What this has to do with is making the decision of how I live my life. It has everything to do with my own intentional manifestation of what I want my life to be like. It has to do with my lifestyle and what I choose for myself.
I choose not to settle for anything less than the best, simply because I can.
What we give attention to, we create in our lives. This applies to everything, not just an airplane seat. I gave attention to getting on the plane, whereas I should have given attention to getting on the plane in First Class. I would have had the same level of success, just would have been a great deal more comfortable during the trip.
So, my point is…
Make the decision to always ride in The Front of the Plane. Make the decision to have everything you want in your life. Make the decision to make more money than you will ever need. Make the decision to give away more money than most people will ever make. Make the decision to have whatever you want and then do not settle for anything less, regardless of the circumstances.
Take the time to create your life, on your terms
